Kansas State Announces Start Times for First Four Games

July 29, 2003

MANHATTAN, Kan. - With the countdown to the season underway, the Kansas State Department of Athletics released the start times for the first four games of the season Tuesday.

Following the season opener vs. California in the BCA Classic on Saturday, Aug. 23, at 6:45 p.m. on ESPN, K-State returns to campus for a 6:10 p.m. kickoff in its home opener vs. Troy State on Aug. 30. A 6:10 kickoff has also been slated for game No. 2 vs. McNeese State on Sept. 13, with a 1:10 start on the docket for the Sept. 13 game vs. Massachusetts.

Due to the possibility of television affecting the balance of the schedule, kickoffs for the remainder of the season's nine games are still listed as TBA. The contest on Nov. 1 vs. Baylor will serve as homecoming for the 2003 season. The Big 12 Conference home opener is Oct. 18 vs. Colorado.

Kansas State began its 15th fall camp under head coach Bill Snyder Tuesday with 105 student-athletes reporting and taking part in orientation meetings. The squad's first workout will take place on Wednesday afternoon.
